We have been reconditioning these power-packs for over six years – we’re confident that we have more experience reconditioning these units than any other UK company. They are by far our most popular repair, in fact they are so popular we have only just dared start advertising them for fear of being swamped with work! We have successfully reconditioned many thousands of these units for customers ranging from OE manufacturers, Main dealers, transmission specialists all the way to owner drivers.
Every power pack is stripped, cleaned, power flushed and cosmetically refinished. All threads are checked and re-tapped. The ECU is stripped, PCB tested and repaired and then rebuilt into a fully reconditioned casing to ensure it is water tight. The motor and pump are rebuilt using new bearings and upgraded motor brushes which we have had formulated and manufactured at great expense – specifically to cure the common issue of swelled and cracked brushes. The valves, accumulator, PRV and pressure sensor are bench tested to spec, and once rebuilt the power pack is tested using OE diagnostics to manufacturer specs, before being “torture tested” on our custom built gearbox simulator for the equivalent of 1000 miles worth of gearchanges, followed by another full test to spec. We take pride in our quality and stand by our product should any issues arise.

Your power pack will not require re-programming after repair – it will be ready to fit, but will usually require a re-teach (as if you had fitted a new clutch)
