Description
These units are all starting to fail nowadays, most commonly showing faults for the 5V sensor supply or fuel actuator. We can test and repair these units – All repaired ECUs include a complete replacement of many components which break down through time/heat causing these issues.
Most of these units we now see are suffering from some degree of water ingress through failure of the sealant used in manufacture – It’s very common for these to fail completely after the engine is jet-washed.
Common faults include:
- Fuel pump actuator open circuit
- Fuel pump actuator short to battery positive
- 5V sensor supply short to ground
- Non-Start, No communications
- Broken/Corroded sockets
- Engine Oil Contamination
Tested on our general purpose ECU jig, we can repair your Cummins ISb ECU in most cases.
